Building a 2XTM
Mag well installation

In regards to building your own 2XTM: Working through the jams and stove pipes are normal part of every 9 mm and 7.62x25 build I have done. The basic rule of thumb is the case will always bounce back into the gun if there is anything it can touch on the way out.
#1 Start with the extractor. Polish is under the claw and then relieve it back slightly on the front face. I grind a shallow channel into the beveled face of the extractor so the case can rollout out from under the extractor claw smoothly without bouncing forward back into the gun. Difficult to describe this but the idea is to avoid case contact with the face of the extractor.
#2 Make sure the bolt carrier handle is far enough back so the cases don't hit it then bounce back into the gun.
#3 Make sure the carrier is relieved enough so the cases have enough clearance to get up and out past the spring housing of the carrier. I took off so much off the carrier on one of my builds I can see the recoil spring through the hole left there.
#4 Your carrier maybe too light. I cut the piston head off then add mass by pressing on 1/2" diameter roll pins (from a tractor supply) onto the piston shaft then tack welding it in place.
#5 When you put the top cover on it provides something else for the case to run into and bounce back into the gun. Clearance as required.
